AOS call out in Kikohe

About 2250 hrs on 26 February 2010 police were called to a incident in Kaikohe where a dispute between 2 house holds erupted in violence.

The 2 houses back onto each other on a corner. Occupants from one house smashed windows at the other house using golf clubs and an alegation was made that they also used a gun to shoot out a window.

The street was cordoned off and the Whangarei Armed Offender Squad attended.

2 persons were later assisting police with their enquiries at Kaikohe Police Station. No firearm has yet been located.
