Missing Person - Richmond, Christchurch.

Christchurch Police are searching for a 76 year old male who suffers from dementia who went missing from his home in Richmond, Christchurch at 1500hrs on Friday afternoon.

He is fit and could have walked to any part of Christchurch, but in the past has headed for old family addresses in Linwood and Beckenham.

He is described as a male caucasian, aged 76 years - medium build with grey hair. He wears glasses and a light grey t -shirt and grey trousers.  His name is Edward Morrison, commonly known as Eddie.

Has a ID bracket on with his name.  He may not be aware that he is lost.

Search and Rescue teams are searching areas of Christchurch and are also asking residents to check their own properties for Mr Morrison and to keep an eye open for him in the city.

The Police are asking anyone who has sighted this male to phone the Police on 363 7400 and ask for the Communications centre.
