Man hit on Market Place, Auckland City

At about 12.25pm a 70 year old man was knocked over by a four wheel drive vehicle on Market Place , Auckland City.

The injured party has been taken to Auckland Hospital.

The Auckland City Serious Crash Unit are at the scene investigating the incident.

Two people from the vehicle are talking to police.

Market Place is closed between the junctions of Pakenham Street East and Customs Street West. It is expected to be opened again around 3.00pm.
