PORIRUA

At about 9.20am a female security guard was taking cash and cheques from the Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua for banking.

A lone male who has been identified as Perry Ngawaka Bristow walked up behind her and snatched the bag containing the cash and cheques from her.

He then went to a stolen motor vehicle driven by two associates.

They drove off into Titahi Bay, Porirua where the motor vehicle and the associates were located.

The two associates have been arrested and charged with offences relating to the stealing of the vehicle.

Bristow is a male Pacific Islander, 25 years of age, 180cm tall and of medium build. A photograph is attached. He should not be approached.

No one was hurt in the robbery and no weapons were used although the female security guard was shaken by the incident.
