Fatal crash in Waharoa

9am - Police are currently attending a fatal car crash on Wardville Rd in Waharoa. Only one car was invloved with a lone male occupant.

It appears that the vehicle, travelling west towards SH27 at the time, has driven over an impediment on the road, lost control and ended up on a nearby paddock where he has crashed into a bank.

Ambulance are also in attendance.

Enquiries are on-going as to the identity of the driver which will be released in due course.
