Serious crash on Southern Motorway

12.40am - There has been a serious crash in the southbound lane of the Southern Motorway, just north of the Highbrook off-ramp. There are several injured persons.

The south bound lane is completely closed, and diversions are in place at Princess Street, Otahuhu.

There is also another crash in the northbound lmotorway, at the same location, but the northbound motorway is open.

The Serious Crash Unit is attending the scene, as well as all emergency services.
