SH1 - Dome Valley north of Warkworth

19:41 - Police and other emergency services are attending a double fatality crash on SH1 in the Dome Valley area just north of Warkworth involving a car and a motorbike.

The motorcyclist and his pillion passenger are both deceased.

The two occupants of the motor vehicle have suffered moderate injuries.

Serious Crash Unit is in attendance and SH1 is closed.

The north diversion for southbound traffic is located at the intersection of SH1 and Station Rd which will come out in SH16.

The south diversion point for northbound traffic is set up at the intersection of SH1 and Kaipara Flats Rd which also comes out in SH16.
