Operation KING - Arrests Made

This morning staff working on Operation KING, with assistance from members of the Armed Offenders Squad, executed search warrants at homes in Manurewa, Otahuhu and Mangere.

Operation KING is an investigation being conducted into a recent series of aggravated robberies within the greater Auckland area.

Counties Manukau Detective Senior Sergeant Gary Lendrum said, “Two men have been taken into custody from the addresses and subsequently arrested”.

“The two South Auckland men aged 30 and 31 years respectively will appear in the Manukau District Court on Friday, 9 April. Both men have been charged with committing two aggravated robberies”.

“We are still seeking public assistance to locate Vegus KARA, 26 years, who has active warrants for his arrest”.
