Western BOP Police name victim of Paengaroa fatal

Western Bay of Plenty Police have released the name of the pedestrian who died at 5.00pm on Thursday 8th April when she was struck by a vehicle as she crossed State Highway 33 in Paengaroa.

Joan Olive TEBBUTT aged 96 of Paengaroa died instantly when she was struck by a vehicle heading towards Te Puke.

Police enquiries are continuing into the cause of the crash.
