Microlight crash in Silverdale

Police and emergency services went to the assistance of a microlight pilot who crashed on landing on private property in Silverdale earlier this afternoon.

The 64 year old local pilot was uninjured in the crash which occurred at his usual landing place just after 2.00pm. The microlight was reported to have been badly damaged in the crash.

Orewa police have supplied details to the Civil Aviation Authority.
