Johnsonville death

Wellington Police are undertaking enquiries in relation to the unexplained death of an 82yr old woman who was found by relatives at her home in Johnsonville on Saturday.

A post mortem examination will be completed on Sunday afternoon and Officers will continue to examine the address to ensure a thorough investigation is completed and Police are able to reconstruct what may have contributed to or caused the woman's death.

No further comment will be made by Police until a further media release is provided later this evening or some stage tomorrow.
