Police are seeking witnesses.

The most serious one is Aggravated Robbery of a First Direct taxi Driver driving a white
Toyota Mark 2 stationwagon.

At approx 5.45am on Sunday 11 April 2010 he has picked up two male passengers
from Shirley Rd / Quinns Rd and gone via Hope St,Emmett St,Briggs Rd,Innes Rd,
Philpotts Rd,QE2 Dr and Grimseys Rd.

During this time the offenders have threatened to kill the driver using a knife
and they were hitting him and grabbing him around the throat while he was driving.

The offenders have struck the driver very hard on back of his head subsequently
causing him to crash into two trees on QE2 Dr near Grimseys Road.

The driver received concussion and sore head and neck as a result of assault/crash.
