Man arrested for bank robbery

Police investigating the robbery of Kiwi Bank in Terrace End, Palmerston North yesterday afternoon (14 April) have arrested a 30-year-old man at a house in Feilding.

The arrest was made around 3.30pm and the man now faces charges of aggravated robbery. Charges for driving offences are also likely, following a pursuit yesterday evening in Feilding.

An appearance tomorrow at Palmerston North District Court is expected.
