Bomb threat - Auckland City

Police are currently in attendance at the ANZ Bank on Queen Street as a result of a bomb threat made over the phone.

The initial location of the threat was not specific and only made to 'an ANZ Bank on Queen Street', and as a precaution all 3 branches on Queen Street were initially cleared.

Traffic around the immediate area has been diverted, where traffic is flowing southbound between Victoria and Wyndham Street and westbound only on Victoria Street.

Police remain at the scene while further inquiries are being conducted and search members notified.
