Entries now Open for the Central Otago Awards

Nominations for the 2010 Central Otago Awards are now open.

This is an opportunity to recognise and honour those businesses and individuals who are making adifference in Central Otago.

Brand Manager Shirley Howden, said “There are a number of Award categories thatpeople can enter or be nominated for including; ones for Youth, Apprentices,Community Service, and also for Tourism, Business Excellence and for BrandAmbassador.”

“Each year we have had fantastic entries and I am sure that this will be the case forthe 2010 Awards”, said Ms Howden.

Nomination forms are available from the Council office, all Service Centres, Librariesand Information Centres and can be easily downloaded from the regional brandwebsite – www.aworldofdifference.co.nz

Entries need to be submitted by 5pm on Wednesday 2, June.All finalists and award winners will be recognised at a special Awards Ceremony.

This year it will be held in Roxburgh on Thursday 9 September.
