Crash - Desert Rd, Tongariro National Park

About 6.10 pm tonight police were called to a single vehicle crash on the Desert Road on the intersection with Waipakihi Rd, in the Tongariro National Park area.

A man was trapped in the car, a young boy suffered neck injuries, and a woman suffered head injuries.

Police, fire and ambulance are all in attendance. All 3 occupants have been removed from the vehicle and have been taken to Palmerston North Hospital.
