Fatal Crash - Palmerston North

At 11.26 PM on Tuesday the 4th May 2010 Palmerston North Police and other emergency services were called to the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Pioneer Highway, where a single vehicle had left the road.

This crash occurred approx 100 metres north of Maxwells Line on State Highway 56, (Pioneer Highway)

On arrival it was discovered the male driver was deceased and his male passenger had suffered serious injuries.

The Serious Crash Unit have attended the scene and will be continuing with their investigations.
