New Zealand has an illustrious history of, growing, building, designing and inventing some of the most usable products and services in the world. New Zealand is leading the way in the hotly contested software as a service (SaaS) industry.

ProActive Software Ltd. has been supplying companies worldwide with project management software since 2002. In that period ProActive's flagship product 'ProWorkflow' has frequently won when compared to, or evaluated alongside the world’s biggest products in the Project Management software space.

ProActive Software Ltd CEO Julian Stone says ProWorkflow is gaining more sales momentum in the global industry.

"Whilst there are government and private organizations willing to help software companies establish networks and relationships in foreign markets, it should be – and is - possible to build offshore sales through smart use of technology without this assistance," Stone says.

ProWorkflow has been developed in the real world. “We have worked on hundreds of revisions since ProWorkflow launched,” says ProActive Software’s development director Alan Barlow “the companies success is proof that we can build world class software and can compete on a global stage.“

ProActive Software has been steadily growing in both customers and revenue year after year according to Stone and he says the development approach has been a huge success considering so many new companies entering the SaaS market have used public floats or investors to cover their large overheads and massive start up costs.

While many companies are entering the SaaS market are claiming to be leaders ProActive's developed product has been selling in the company of the world’s leading solutions for the past five years and Stone says "ProActive Software has built its global customer base without stepping foot in another country and without outside assistance."
