Government House - Wgtn

A 38 year old Wellington man will today appear in the Wellington District Court charged in relation to an arson attack on Government House which occurred last Friday (7 May) evening at around 10.00 pm.

During this attack several home made Molotov cocktails were located by security personnel set up against an outbuilding located on the perimeter of Government House itself.

The Molotov cocktails had been set alight and caused minor damage to the out building's cladding and down piping.
