Hutt City set to benefit from investment in science
Hutt City Mayor David Ogden has welcomed the Government's plan to invest $312 million in new science initiatives during the next four years.
"The Government is to be congratulated for making this investment which could have major spin offs for Hutt City.
"We are home to significant government and private science organisations and some of New Zealand's top scientists.
"This makes our city well placed to benefit from the new initiative and I am hopeful it will create new jobs and help grow our economy.
"The future looks very exciting," says Mayor Ogden.
