Robber passed note to teller at Kiwibank

A robber gained a small sum of money at an incident in Sydenham, Christchurch this morning.

At 10am the lone male walked into the Kiwibank on Colombo Street, Sydenham.

He presented a note stating he had a weapon and demanded a sum of money.

On being passed a sum he calmly walked out of the bank and up Colombo Street towards the city.

He is described as a male Maori or Polynesian of slim build.
