More than 25 officers investigating disappearance of Kapiti man Raymond Piper
More than 25 officers are continuing to work on the inquiry into the disappearance of Kapiti man Raymond Piper, known as Son, missing for nearly three weeks.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam says Police are still receiving lots of valuable information from the public, via the 0800 FIND RAY free phone number, as well as email and text.
"We really appreciate the help from the public and urge anyone with further information to contact Police immediately."
DSS Oxnam says, "As I have said before, anyone who wishes to provide Police with confidential information has my assurance that it will remain confidential."
"As you are aware, Raymond was last seen in Eatwell Ave, Paraparaumu at around 9am on Saturday 15 May. He was wearing a black 'Rip Curl' cap, baggy blue jeans, a brown t-shirt with the words 'your girlfriend, my girlfriend' in white and white Globe shoes."
DSS Oxnam says more than 25 officers are following up a vast amount of information we've received from the public. All of the information we are getting is being checked to see if it is relevant to the inquiry. If not, it's discarded and positive leads are being chased.
Anyone with information should phone 0800 FIND RAY or email Findray@police.govt.nz or text 027 2241 1394.
