Prisoner escapes from Gisborne court

At about 2.39pm on Monday the 21st of June 2010 a 32 year old prisoner escaped from the custody area of the Gisborne District Court.

The escaped prisoner is Allan Taare Gray, a male Mäori formerly of the Waikato area but with local ties.

When last seen he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and socks and jandles. He is 175cm (approximately 5 foot 9 inches) in height and is of thin to medium build.

Police are urging anyone who has information about Mr Gray's whereabouts to contact their local Police Station.
