WELLINGTON

Two more people have been arrested in connection with the death of Raymond Piper, missing since 15 May.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam says a local Paraparaumu woman aged 44 and a Tauranga man, aged 50, have been arrested in Kapiti this morning and will be appearing in the Porirua District Court this afternoon on a charge each of being a party to commit grievous bodily harm (GBH).

This follows an arrest yesterday of 51 year-old Paraparaumu man Ainsley Brent Anderson, charged with being a party to the murder of Raymond Piper. He has appeared in the Porirua District Court this morning and has been remanded in custody to reappear on the 16th of July 2010.

DSS Oxnam says the focus of the inquiry is still to recover Raymond's body and return it to his whanau so they can give him a final resting place.

"Anyone who knows any information must call us immediately. Raymond's whanau want his body home so they can rest. Any information can be treated confidentially and you will be protected."

People can phone 0800 FIND RAY or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via email Findray@police.govt.nz or via text 027 241 1394.
