Bomb scare at Auckland domestic terminal

AUCKLAND

At about 7.40am a suspicious package was found at the Jetstar counter in the domestic terminal at Auckland Airport.

The terminal was evacuated for about an hour while the Bomb Squad and Police investigated.

The package was found to be innocent and the terminal fully re opened at about 8.40am.

It is not known what if any flights were delayed.

Senior Sergeant Terence Logan of Counties Manukau police was in charge of the incident.
