Police name man found dead at Reading Cinemas Wellington at weekend

Police have today named the man found dead at Reading Cinemas on Sunday night as 23 year-old Anthony Damien Smythe.

Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Miller says Mr Smythe had been living in Wellington since May 2010.

"Preliminary results of the post-mortem examination conducted yesterday show there are no suspicious circumstances regarding his death."

DSS Miller says Police are now investigating the death of behalf of the Coroner who will determine the cause of death at a future inquest.

"Wellington Police would like to thank staff and management at Reading Cinemas in Courtenay Place for their co=operation and assistance during this time."
