Gang fighting - Gisborne

The Gisborne CIB have arrested and charged two further people in connection with the gang fight during the early hours of Saturday morning.

A 36 year old male will appear in the Gisborne District Court today charged with 3 counts of Wounding with Intent to cause Grievous Bodily Harm and a 26 year old male will also be appearing on a single charged of Wounding with Intent to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm.

Enquiries are continuing to identify other persons involved in the incident and the Gisbourne Police are still appealing to any members of the public who witnessed all or part of the confrontation to please contact them, in confidence if necessary.

The Police are opposing both persons bail.
