Aria Farm’s Erik Arndt is a pioneer in nutritious frozen food and his latest creation – Tender Beef Mince with Real Tomatoes and Basil – follows his tradition of convenient, fast cooking, great tasting and healthy meals.
‘There’s a revolution taking place in the freezer spurred on by busy people after convenient and healthy meals.
‘Consumers want food that is easy and quick to prepare, and that’s good for them – so that’s just what we have done.
‘The Tender Beef Mince is free flow which means there in no thawing and the ingredients flow from the pack allowing easy control of the amount required. The rest goes straight back in the freezer, so there’s no waste.
‘The tomatoes and the basil are snap frozen together with the mince so when placed in a hot pan to cook from frozen, the meat remains chunky and the tomato softens to a saucy consistency.
‘Tender Beef Mince is the bolognaise of spaghetti, the sauce of pasta, the base of pizza, the topping of nachos or simply a snack on its own,’ says Erik.
All Aria Farm products including the Lamb, Beef and Chicken Strips cook from frozen in six minutes, are made from 100% New Zealand meat, are lower in salt, and are gluten, dairy and soy free.
