Yarrow Stadium New Plymouth Saturday 24th July 2010. Tukapa rugby club wins the Taranaki Premier club rugby championship with a hard fort win over New Plymouth Old boys.Played in ideal condition in front of a vocal crowd, the teams were tied at 16 all with both teams having scored a try apiece. Tukapa took the lead with four minutes to play with a penalty by Jack Cameron. New Plymouth old Boys then had a chance to tie the game with one minute on the clock with a penalty out wide but the attempt went astray and Tukapa took the title.
