One dead after car driven through street fight

At about 1.30am on Gifford Road, Papatoetoe, Auckland a fracas broke out involving around 20 people, spilling on to the road.

During this a vehicle drove through striking one male who died at the scene.

Police are at the scene speaking to witnesses, and are yet to find out exactly what happened.

All persons present at the time of the incident are still at the scene.

Serious Crash are investigating the crash.
