Crash - SH1, Hundalee, Hurunui District (Limestone Stream)

Motorists travelling on State Highway One between Kaikoura and Cheviot need to be aware of likely delays in the Hundalees area.

At approximately 5:30a.m. this morning a truck crashed onto its side, blocking the Northbound lane of SH1, near to Limestone Stream (approx 3km North of the Conway River).

Emergency services have responded and are providing medical treatment to the driver of the b-train, who has reportedly suffered minor injury.

The Police Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit is enroute to assist with the inquiry into the crash.

It is not yet know what time the scene will be clear.
