Mount Hutt Skifield, Mount Hutt, Ashburton District

A man was rushed to Christchurch Hospital as a result of injuries received whilst snowboarding at Mount Hutt Skifield, earlier today. He was flown to Hospital by helicopter but died as a result of these injuries. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

The male is aged 30 and currently residing in Christchurch. Police are currently notifying the next of kin
