All Whites to play two home matches in October

The All Whites will play two home internationals against FIFA World Cup finalists during October.
Today New Zealand Football confirmed the All Whites will take on Honduras on October 9.
The All Whites will play FIFA World Cup quarter-finalists Paraguay three days later at Westpac Stadium, in Wellington.
A venue for the Honduras match has yet to be confirmed, but will not be in Wellington.
New Zealand Football's Michael Glading believes the matches will go some way to paying back fans for their ongoing support since the All Whites qualified for the World Cup.
“We now have two World Cup sides of obvious quality coming to New Zealand with stars from the best leagues in the World,” Glading said.
“It’s a football opportunity that’s been rare in recent years but we see it as a very special way for the team to thank the New Zealand public for all their World Cup support. ”
“Football has reached a new mark on in New Zealand’s sporting landscape and the time is right to celebrate that, and build even more momentum, with a two very big events. ”
Ticketing details for both matches and the venue for the October 9 match will be announced at a later date.
