Take your gold to the kapiti Coast

Announcing a new adventure for all ages, esp seniors with Gold cards!

Enjoy a special day out!!!  Starting Thurs 19th, please book early!  Senior Gold Cards are good 9am to 3pm and again after 6-30pm all over Wellington...you can use it on the train for this trip.

At Wellington station hop on the 10am train to Paraparaumu and enjoy a scenic train trip out to Kapiti ,also known as the Nature Coast.(OR adults and children can buy a discounted round trip from Wellington station or on the train).

Coach will meet you at Paraparaumu station for a mystery tour... since there are many hidden treasures you can make suggestions or requests as your hosts Glynis and Trev know the area very well. You just relax and have fun! Coach trip $65 adults, children and SENIORS $45.

If you are using the Gold card the last free train is 2-35pm or after 6-30pm.

Trains run frequently and shopping and restaurants can fill in time after your tour as we go to the places that public transport doesn't reach...before returning to Paraparaumu station! You may even wish to extend your time and stay overnight. Maybe put a group together? we can introduce you to all the friendly locals, take you shopping at the Otaki outlets, sip coffee by the sea, enjoy the views of Kapiti Island or visit Ng Manu our famous nature reserve! Many choices!!!
Leave your car at home and have a lovely day without driving, see all there is to see. not just the road and other cars!!!
If you live in the Hutt Valley or Johnsonville line you still have from 9am to 10am to make a connection to the Paraparaumu train from Wellington.
