Papanui police seek owner of diamond ring
A diamond ring, belonging to a small woman, has recently been handed in to the police at Papanui, who are now seeking its owner. This ring has been inspected by someone that knows and is of the following description:
The ring is most likely to be a one off made for a fine fingered woman some years ago. It is made of 9ct Gold and White gold with a single diamond setting. A jeweler has indicated the stone to be real and of very fine quality.
The background is that the "finder" came across this item some years ago and after cleaning it up has gone on wearing it. She has belatedly handed the ring in and hopes the original owner can be found.
Anyone believing the item to be theirs should contact the Papanui Station Property officer Paul Johns on 03 3741779 between the hours of 0830am and 4.30 pm on a weekday. It may be the owner has a photograph of them wearing this ring.
