Man killed by rubish truck

A man has been run over and killed by a rubbish truck in South Auckland at about 10.00am this morning.

The rubbish truck was reversing along Sutton Road, with 2 staff members walking along side it, when one has tragically fallen under the wheels and has be run over. The man died at the scene.

Police and Department of Labour staff are investigating the circumstances. Police are unable to name the man until next of kin have been advised.
