Suspicious caravan fire - Hanging Rock

Police and the Fire service are currently investigating a suspicious caravan fire at the Hanging Rock area of Geraldine.

A passing motorist alerted the fire service of the fire who on arrival discovered a body within the caravan. The caravan was completley burnt out.

The investigaion has only just started and no further information is available at this time.

Police and fire staff from Timaru, Geraldine and Temuka are at the scene.
