PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE - Pahiatua

The Tararua District Council has issued a precautionary Boil Water Notice for those residents and consumers in Pahiatua as well as those properties in the surrounding rural areas receiving a town water supply.

Water is still being treated at the plant and this notice is being given as an extra precaution.
This Boil water notice has been issued following the very heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours.
Residents are advised to boil their drinking water and that used for food preparation as a precaution until further notice.

The Tararua District Council website (www.tararuadc.govt.nz) will be updated when the notice has been lifted and a press release will be issued.
