Man crushed by cattle beast

A 57 year old man was killed after he crushed by a cattle beast on Otoi Road, TUAI.

The man had been loading cattle onto a stock truck at 1130am on Monday 06/09/32010 when he was crushed by one of the animals.

The truck driver has gone to the man's assistance and ambulance have been called.

The rescue chopper was despatched but paramedics were unable to revive him.

The matter has been referred to the coroner and Police and Department of Labour are completing the enquiry.
