The mother of two children found home alone in a west Hamilton home early this morning has been located by Police.

The children had been taken into protective custody by Police and referred to Child Youth and Family after being found by themselves at the Dinsdale address about 3.30am

Both children were earlier described as a boy and a girl however it has been determined that both children are boys.
