Enquiries into death of Kane Temarama continue
Police are continuing their enquiries into the death of 26 year-old Kane Temarama in Upper Hutt in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Mr Temarama died on Sunday afternoon as a result of an assault in Main Street, Upper Hutt around 1am on Sunday morning.
Officer in charge of the inquiry, Detective Inspector Darrin Thomson says a post-mortem examination began yesterday but will not be completed until Friday.
"We will not be releasing any details of the post-mortem until it has been fully completed on Friday."
Detective Inspector Thomson says Police are continuing to make a number of inquiries into the assault and have spoken to a number of witnesses.
