David Tua hasn't hesitated at the chance of jumping back into the ring less than a month after his previous fight.

He meets American Cerron Fox in a 10 rounder tomorrow in one of the two feature heavyweight fights at Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Fox hasn't fought anyone with any status. He boasts a record of only 13 fights for eight wins (all by knockout) and five losses.

Tua, who knocked out Mexican champion Saul Montana in the first round only three weeks ago, has a 48-3-1 (41 by knockout) record.

Montana was his sixth straight victim since he came back into the ring in 2005 after a legal battle with his former managers.

Tua, 34, was called upon for the fight only this week after Joe Mesi withdrew with a back problem.

Though Tua remains fit since his previous fight, he hasn't been able to put the finishing touches to his preparation because of the short notice.

However, he is still expected to have too much for the significantly lighter Fox, telling boxing website boxingnews.com that he was ready to fight anytime.

Tua's eagerness to get back into the ring has come about due to his lack of action since 2005 and he is keen to step into the ring regularly in the hope of getting another title shot before the end of the year.

Tomorrow's programme also features former champion Hasim Rahman who Tua fought twice before for a win in 1998 and a draw in 2003.
