Porirua Police seek info on missing teen

Porirua Police are growing concerned for the safety of a local teenager, missing for nearly two weeks.

Jessica Ross, aged 15, is described as a European, with shoulder-length hair, of slight build. She was reported missing from Strathmore, Wellington on the 10th of September.

Porirua Youth Aid Officer Constable Paul Randall says Jessica is originally from Titahi Bay and Police believe she may be in the greater Porirua area.

"Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Jessica is urged to contact Police as soon as possible. Jessica has gone missing for a long period before but we just want to make sure she is safe and well."

Constable Randall says Police have been making enquiries with friends and family of Jessica and will continue to do so, to ensure she is located safely.
