Police treat fight death as homicide

Auckland City police have initiated a Homicide investigation after the death of a 17 yr old school boy in the vicinity of Hamilton Rd and Jervois Rd,Herne Bay.

No official identification of the deceased has been made as yet but the police believe they know who the young man is.

Hamilton Rd in Herne Bay has been cordoned off as a Homicide scene as has part of Jervois Rd.
