Greytown man arrested for arson

A 50 year-old man will appear in the Masterton District Court this afternoon, following an arson in Greytown last month.

Detective Sergeant Bill Van Woerkom of Wairarapa CIB says the Greytown man has been charged in connection with the arson of a large workshop and garage, which occurred in the early hours of the 20th of September 2010 in Main Street, Greytown.

"Police would like to thank the Wairarapa community who provided us with valuable information about this incident."
