Fatal crash in Dunsandel

At about 8.45pm on Friday 1st October - Police, fire and ambulance attended a serious vehicle crash on Hororata-Dunsandel Road, Dunsandel. A single vehicle had run off the road. The driver a 60 year old male, the sole occupant was seriously injured as a result of the crash.
At 3.00am this morning the driver died at Christchurch hospital as a result of his injuries.
His name will not be released until next of kin have been advised.
