Crash at State Highway One South of Huntly.

Waikato Police are dealing with a road crash at State Highway One South of Huntly.

 

The incident occurred near to Gordonton Road Taupiri. A truck and trailor unit carrying car bodies has collided with another vehicle. The car bodies have spilt from the truck and blocked the railway lines. Both State Highway One and the railway line are now closed until they can be cleared.

 

Two persons have minor injuries.

 

Diversions are in place. At the North end traffic is being diverted from Huntly via Orini Road to Ohinewai Via Tahuna.

 

At the South end traffic is being diverted up the western side of Waikato river from Ngaruwahia
