The seventh Top Ten Finalist is Astaria Te Aukura from Auckland. Her interests include swimming,
touch rugby, hip hop dancing, netball, basketball and surf lifesaving.
Astaria goes to Mairangi Bay Primary and is also involved with the Mairangi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club.
She’s really sporty and plays at a high level – she just won an award for being the top 7 year old
swimmer on the North Shore. She also loves art and drama at school and wants to be a pilot when she
grows up.
She says she would like to be the next Milkybar Kid because it’s 2010 and girls can do anything!
