The tenth (and final) Top Ten Finalist is Samyah Powell from Whangarei. She is 9 and her interests
include school, dancing, and cheerleading.
Samyah goes to Whangarei Primary where she loves reading and maths and is top of the class. She
also does hip hop dancing and cheerleading and travels overseas for dance competitions. When she’s
older she would like to be a professional dancer and part time hairdresser.
She would like to be the next Milkybar Kid because she loves Milkybars and she loves performing.
Samyah joins Dominic Burrows of Invercargill, Asher Quin of Dunedin, Sam Kirby of Christchurch,
Natalie Olson of Wellington, Hinetaapora Short of Rotorua, Madison Hunter of Auckland, Astaria Te
Aukura of Auckland, Benjamin Clark of Auckland and Eloise Greenwood in the Top Ten.
