Fatal Crash - Line Road, Lauriston, Ashburton District

At 1.20pm on Sunday 7 November 2010 a vehicle carrying two males in their early 20’s was travelling towards Methven on Lines Road, Lauriston.

On negotiating a moderate bend the vehicle left the road and collided with a large tree with the full force of the collision being on the front passenger side.  The front passenger died as a result of the crash.

The male passenger who died as a result of his injuries has been named.

He was Nicholas John ROULSTON, aged 23 years who resides locally.
